He engages his friend Theo to assist him by asking Theo to incarnate in a human, Derek Devlon, the main incarnate character. To do this Theo must walk over to relieve Telanon, the spirit already resident in Derek. Minyus has already encountered Derek through Derek’s sessions of remote viewing and meditation while Derek was attempting to find ancient life on Mars, what Minyus calls Nimuria.Minyus and Theo then nudge Derek into a chain of activities beginning with theories of catastrophism on Earth, such as those outlined by Hapgood involving polar shifts.

Derek finds himself in bookstores and libraries doing research on this topic. It is in the library where he meets Linda, who becomes his companion.Eventually, Derek is nudged by Theo and Minyus to undertake a trip to Spain to look for the Stones of Enscovear, which Derek is told contains ancient knowledge important to the Earth. Derek and Linda go to Spain and find the Stones. While there they contact an archeologist to seek his help in translating the writings on the Stones.

He refers them to someone in their own home city at a university, Doctor Sheila Simmons, another archeologist. The Stones are eventually translated by Simmons and her friend, Mark Higgins, a staff member of NASA and a language expert. The US government becomes involved and attempts to keep the contents of the Stones secret by threatening the four of them, Derek, Linda, Mark and Sheila.

Nevertheless they find a way to pass the translations on to the archeologist in Spain. The Stones contain information about the ancient race on Nimuria (Mars) and their own catastrophe which destroyed nearly all the beings there. The few survivors had built a craft and used it to escape to Earth. The European Space Agency uses this detailed information to build their own craft to travel to Mars to seek out survivors of that long ago event.

They travel to Mars with Derek, Linda, Mark and Sheila on board as delegates. The story is interspersed with accounts of activities in the spirit realm as they pertain to life on Earth, especially Derek’s. Minyus has a special relation to Derek, to whom he has told of the disaster which destroyed life on Nimuria, a planet which Minyus served as spirit guide. The ending reveals that Minyus had served eons in rehabilitation because of his attempted rebellion against the Higher Powers.

His rehabilitation consisted of assignments to only those planets which will suffer catastrophes, such as Mars and Earth. But the ending also reveals that the Higher Powers are testing Minyus to see if his rehabilitation is complete and whether he is ready to become a member of that group. The ending also includes the death of Derek aboard the craft while it is on Mars.It is a story first of the other side and second of beings on Earth.

It shows the relationship that exists between those two planes. It is filled with glimpses into the activities of beings in the spirit realm, their activities, their organization in a believable way. It shows how the spirit realm influences incarnate humans in ways humans do not understand. It is a story of hope and insight. It shows that we are truly spirits experiencing a physical existence, not physical beings experiencing a spiritual awakening. Does it reveal God? Only the reader can determine that.
